コロナ禍の贈り物
今回は、コロナ禍の嬉しい贈り物のお話しです。
このコロナ禍の中、色々なスポーツイベントの延期や中止が発表
されています。そんな中、リアルレースでは無く、バーチャルの
レースがあちこちで開催されています。
今迄は、「e-spots」 としてゲームプレーヤーだけが行っていま
したが、このバーチャルレースは、本物のアスリートが挑戦して
います。このコロナ禍でなければ、行われていなかったスポーツ
イベントです。
それは、前回ご紹介した「バーチャル ツール・ド・フランス」
と、自動車レースの「バーチャル ルマン２４時間」です。
いずれも、各選手の自宅や、チームのトレーニングルームなどで、
ヘルメットやサングラスを付けずに、選手が全世界の各々の場所
から参戦しています。
自転車レースの「バーチャル ツール・ド・フランス」では、室内
のトレーニングルームや野外のポーチなどでスマートトレーナー
というマシンに跨り、一生懸命に各選手が自転車を漕いでいます。
実際に走っている時と違い風が顔に当らないので、大型の扇風機
で風を送っている様子がアナログぽくて笑ってしまいます。また、
各々違う場所で参戦しているので、標高の高い場所で参戦をして
いる選手は不利なレースとなっていました。
昨年、「ツール・ド・フランス」で優勝したベルナルは、標高の
高いコロンビアの自宅から参戦しましたが出遅れてしまいました。
カメラで映し出されると笑いながら走っています。
まるで、サイクリングをエンジョイしているようです。
リアルの「ツール・ド・フランス」では、絶対観る事の出来ない
シーンであります。
そして、自動車レースの「バーチャル ルマン２４時間」。
こちらは、自転車レースの「バーチャル ツール・ド・フランス」
と比べるとよりリアルレースに近い映像となっています。
まるで、本物の「ルマン２４時間」のレースを観るようなリアル
な映像。そして、時間の経過と共にタイヤの消耗度や路面の荒れ
具合や日差しの角度も変わります。
そして、こちらは「バーチャル ツール・ド・フランス」と違い、
操作を誤るとクラッシュしてしまい、ダメージが残ります。また、
コックピット内の映像も観る事が出来るので、普段は、観る事が
出来無いハンドルワークを観る事が出来ます。
ふたつのバーチャルレースは、いずれも普段は見る事が出来ない
リラックスした競技中の選手の顔を観る事が出来ます。
バーチャルなので、決して事故で怪我をする心配がありません。
コロナ禍の為に行われた新しい試み、亀は、これからもリアルな
レースと一緒に、このヴァーチャルのレースが今後も続けられる
事を期待します。

Today's Topic is "The happy gift of the coronavirus"
It's been announced that a lot of sporting competitions will
be postponed or canceled during this coronavirus disaster.
But someone them will be replaced by virtual sporting compe-
titions.
Until now, only game players played virtual sporting compet-
itions. But this virtual sporting competitions were played
by real athletes. There sporting events that wasn't held un-
less it's a coronavirus disaster.
The "Virtual Tour de France" of the bicycle competition and
The "Virtual Le Mans 24 hours" of the car competition. Both
plays at the players'homes and team training rooms, Althle-
tes plays from all over the world without wearing helmet or
sunglass.
In The "Virtual Tour de France" of the bicycle competition,
there were striving to ride a bicycle across a machine call-
ed a smart trainer in rooms or porches. The wind din't hit
theres face like when there were actually running, so I was
laughing at how the large fan blows the air because it's
analog system. Also, since they were playing in different
places, It's a disadvantageous competition for players com-
peting in high altitude areas.
Bernard he won real The "Tour de France 2019" of the bicycle
competition, played from his home in Colombia, where the
altitude is high. But he was late The "Virtual Tour de France"
of the bicycle competition.
When the camera captured him, he was laughing and running.
Seems to be enjoying cycling.
It's so funny. In real The "Tour de France", it's a scene that
can never be seen.
And The "Virtual Le Mans 24 hours" of the car competition,
that's a more realistic image compared to The "Virtual Tour
de France" of the bicycle competition.It's like watching real
The "Le Mans 24 Hours" of the car competition. The tire wear,
road surface roughness and sunshine angles change over time,
and crash if they make a mistake in operation it will crash
and damage will remain. But The "Virtual Tour de France" of
the bicycle competition, not crash if they make a mistake in
operation.
Also, you can see the video in the cockpit, the steering work
that you can't see usually.
In virtual sporting competitions, you can see the faces of
the athletes in a relaxed competition that you can't see no-
rmally. And being virtual, you never have to worry injured
in an accident.
The happy gift of the coronavirus, I hope to continue in
the future with real competitions.
